Instant film is a kind of photographic film which was initially introduced by Polaroid so as to be used in instant cameras. These films contain such chemicals that are needed for development and fixation of the photographs, and when these films are put into the instant cameras the camera then exposes and initiates the further developing process when a photo has been taken. Instant films are used in such places and conditions wherein the wait time is undesirable and results are needed as soon as possible like in the cases of health and care and scientific applications, documentation for the evidence in law enforcement, producing photographs for identity and passport purposes and for such photographs that are needed on immediate basis. These films are also used by the artists for achieving such effects which are difficult with the traditional photography like manipulating the emulsions or by separating the image emulsions from the film base during the process of development. These instant films have however been displaced by the high use of digital photography, which allows immediate access and view of the photographs through various modes like a display screen, printers, and others.

The Instant Films Market is studied from 2019 - 2031.
