Lupine is a blue-flowered flowering plant that belongs to the legume family sativa. Yellow lupine (lupinus luteus), blue lupine (lupinus angustifolia), white lupine (lupinus albus), and lupinus mutabilis for animal fodder are the four basic classes in agricultural variants based on colour.
